X-Men: First Class images are creeping up on us as slowly and surely as Michael Myers did Laurie Strode, including this new look at Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult in the movie.
They play Raven Darkholme/Mystique and Hank McCoy/Beast respectively, sharing a picnic in a ventilation room. Is that romance we spy?
Meanwhile, Hoult spoke a little about his part in the movie with the film’s official Facebook page, revealing he “didn’t want to try and just play a younger Kelsey”.
“I thought Kelsey Grammer did a fantastic job when he portrayed Beast,” he says, “his charm and eloquence was something I wanted to try and emulate.
“However, in First Class I play Hank younger before becoming a politician, when he is a scientist and still learning about himself and his abilities.”
Hoult did, however watch “lots of Frasier and listened to people who spoke with a similar accent to Kelsey” in order to prepare for the role.
Doesn’t sound like a bad life to us.
