New Mortal Kombat trailer showcases Mileena, features first single from upcoming MK-inspired album
Discover why the sexy (not really) and vicious Mileena joined the tournament
Mileena, "Tsang Sung's" repulsive clone of Kitana, was "shaped to be both beautiful and lethal," according to WB's press release announcing the latest Mortal Kombat trailer. More accurately, Mileena was shaped to be nightmarishly un-fappable. Also more accurately, she was created by Shang Tsung. May want to jot down the correct spelling, WB marketing.
Needless snarkiness aside, she's definitely lethal - they got that part right. At least, we're pretty sure ripping off people's torsos at the thighs usually results in death, unless you're Lt. Dan or something...
The trailer also includes the first single from "Mortal Kombat: Songs Inspired by the Warriors," an album of MK-inspired music executive produced by JFK of MSTRKRFT and scheduled for an April 2011 release. The single, "Mileena's Theme" by Tokimonsta, is now available on iTunes and Amazon.
An album of songs inspired by Mortal Kombat characters? How'd that go last time? WHoooOOOooh, CHIIINEEESSEEE NINJA WARRIOR!!
In fairness, the song is pretty cool ($1.29 cool?), but you know what else is on iTunes and is really cool, and free? The GamesRadar Cheats, Guides, and Walkthroughs app, of course! You didn't think we'd forget to keep promoting it, did you? Anyway, Mortal Kombat.
