New Lord of the Rings: War in the North trailer showcases 'brutal combat'

On today's trailer menu is the 'Brutal Combat' of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North (a.k.a. LotRWitN), the upcoming co-op action RPG from Snowblind Studios, which previously developed Justice League Heroes and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. In 2009, Snowblind was acquired by Warner Bros. and tasked with the development War in the North. Yeah, it's yet another Lord of the Rings RPG with a long title, but that doesn't mean it's just another LotR action RPG - from what we've seen, it's looking awfully pretty:

"Find and equip the best loot, upgrade your hero using a wide range of skills and items, and feel the intense satisfaction of rushing into real-time battles with friends by your side. Fight through the brutal realities of the war on all fronts that were brought to life in the lore. Immerse yourself and make your own mark on Middle-earth," reads the game's official site.

We hope to see more of it at PAX East this weekend. If we do, there's a pretty good chance we'll let you know, because writing articles about stuff is sort of what we do.
