New Jumanji set image has three Karen Gillans in the Hawaiian jungle
The new Jumanji movie kicked off filming last month and it seems like barely a day goes by without a cast member posting an amusing update to social media. So far The Rock and Kevin Hart have shown off their goofy sides in a bunch of pics and videos, and today it's Karen Gillan's turn to get in on the fun. First up, a new image from the set:

Do your eyes deceive you?! While it looks like that's three Karen Gillans you're seeing - two of them are actually her stunt doubles. Elsewhere the actress also posted a video, another deep in the verdant jungles of Hawaii, showcasing the stresses and strains of working on an action adventure:

It looks as if the camaraderie between the cast, and the general goofiness on set, extends to everyone involved in the production. Fingers crossed this translates into a brilliant movie. Despite plot specifics remaining under wraps at this time, we know the film is a continuation, not a reboot and it plans to honour Robin Williams. Judging by all these sneak peeks from the set, we know one thing at least: it looks like it's definitely got the potential to have the same feelgood factor as the original.
Directed by Jake Kasdan and starring Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, Nick Jonas, and Kevin Hart, Jumanji will be released in cinemas on July 28, 2017.
