New images of Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow in Iron Man 3
And a first look at Iron Patriot
Iron Man 3 teased a trailer yesterday, whipping up excitable fans into a frenzy. Ahead of the release of that full length trailer (arriving tomorrow), a fresh batch of images have been released (via USA Today ).
OK, so the one of an iron-suited Tony Stark pummelling the floor in his trademark pose (above) was glimpsed in the teaser, but there are also new looks at Tony, Pepper Potts, and Tony and Pepper.
From these images, it feels as though the relationship between Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow’s character will be pushed front and centre this time around, after they got together at the end of Part 2 .
Having not had much chance to settle into their relationship before Tony was called off for Avengers duty, it looks like they’ll be put through the ringer here, not least as Pepper examines a roughed-up Iron Man helmet.
Plus, via Facebook , there's a cheeky first look at the star-spangled Iron Patriot suit.

Iron Man 3 opens in the UK on 26 April 2013.
