New Game of Thrones season 6 clip has Arya fighting blind
Game of Thrones’ sixth season premiere is imminent, and thanks in no small part to multiple trailers and clips anticipation is high. The latest bit of footage focuses on Maisie Williams’ Arya Stark; the season five finale saw the fan-favourite lose her sight, and it looks like part of Arya’s arc in the upcoming episodes will be learning how to fight blind.
Check out the clip below...
In prior seasons Arya has proven herself to be surprisingly tough and capable, but that isn’t the case here; we see her begging on the streets before being beaten by The Waif (Faye Marsay). Fight training when you’re at a novice level always sucks – it’s probably doubly true when you’re blind – but if the latest trailer is anything to go by, Arya gets her Daredevil on sooner rather than later…
Season 6 of Game of Thrones premieres on HBO on April 24, 2016 in the US, and airs on Sky Atlantic the next day in the UK.
