Fantastic Four's publicity drive continues apace with the release of a new TV spot, going out of its way to play up the crash-bang wallop action involved in the forthcoming super-saga.
As was the case with the spot released earlier in the week, the new teaser is working overtime to balance out the earlier "dark" trailers with the promise of the kind of knockabout fun summer blockbusters are traditionally built on. Whether it's a fair representation of the finished film remains to be seen, but it certainly seems that Fox are going hard to ensure the summer audience isn't alienated by the notion of a more "grounded" superhero film.

We're not quite sure what to expect from the finished article, but it does seem like Josh Trank's film has managed to balance some of the dramatic heavy-lifting with a healthy amount of action-based fun. Co-starring Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Miles Teller, Fantastic Four will open in the UK on 6 August 2015 and the US the following day.
