New Avatar pics are here!

After months of next to nothing, the Avatar promotional campaign is finally ramping up.

The big footage screenings will happen around the world on Friday, but before that, there's the small matter of the trailer (expected later today) and some new pics.

We're getting our first proper look at Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi and Michelle Rodriguez in character, plus a new pic of Sam Worthington (in a dodgy wig, no less).

Oh, and there's some bloke called Cameron, or something, who looks like he's trying to make a decision. He's probably a key grip.

So run your peepers down to the pics (sadly they're not in 3D as the director might want) and let us know your thoughts.

We'll have the trailer for you just as soon as it strikes...
