NeverDead puts severed limbs to good use in new trailer

We haven't heard much about third-person shooter NeverDead since last year's E3, but today Konami's pre-E3 show gave us an updated look at its loose-limbed protagonist and mega gory action.

Most modern main characters in gamesare in essence immortal, because even if you die you just reload to the previous checkpoint. But NeverDead Producer Shinta Nojiri says that hero Bryce's immortality will actually play a major role in the gameplay – when his limbs go flying, not only does he keep on going, but he somehow puts his various scattered body parts to good use. Severed arms and legs, or even a severed head, are so useful in fact, that Bryce may even pop off his own bits as needed.

The presentation and trailer unfortunately don't go into too much detail on the actual game mechanics, so we're looking forward to seeing more of NeverDead for ourselves at E3 next week.
