Neve Campbell joins House Of Cards
House Of Cards has added a new big-name star to its season 4 ensemble, with Deadline reporting that Neve Campbell has joined the cast as a recurring character.
The story doesn't divulge any details as to who Campbell might be playing, although there is a suggestion that the new season will see the Underwoods facing a Presidential election. It has also been reported that the ultimate power couple will be challenged by a pair of young rivals, which may hint towards Campbell's upcoming role.
The previous season received mixed reactions from critics and viewers alike, so it's possible that Campbell's casting is part of an attempt by showrunners to freshen things up for the next round. Kevin Spacey had previously suggested that House Of Cards could run for as many as 12 seasons, but to come anywhere close to that target, the show will need to win over a fanbase that has begun to waver after the show's initially strong start.
