Need for Speed The Run adds newest Black Keys song to trailer
First single off Black Keys’ upcoming album makes running a little easier
You kids today love your rock ‘n roll and your fast cars and whatnot, so EA has brought that together in one place with this new trailer for the upcoming Need for Speed sequel. Need for Speed The Run gameplay is backed by the Black Keys new single ”Lonely Boy” in this video we received from EA today, and they’re a nice match. You’ll see more footage of the game’s controversial on-foot sequences than you’ve seen in a while.
You wouldn’t normally associate big time alt rockers Black Keys with a gearhead franchise like NFS, but this rocking tune works well whether running from cops or actually driving a car in a racing game. Incidentally, Black Keys released this single in support of their upcoming album and theRecord Store Daypromotion, as that advocacy group pushes for music lovers support their local (preferably independent) music stores in this digital world. The single will be released on vinyl November 24, and Need for Speed The Run comes out November 15.
