Online is back, both ad-hoc or over the web with the infrastructure mode. So long as you're part of the wireless generation, there are nifty ESPN radio podcasts and real-time scores available to be piped into your PSP - a nice touch. We're also big fans of the system linkup that lets you take a PS2 Dynasty with you onto your handheld, and vice versa.

A few curiosities do pop up here and there, though. During timeouts, players huddle around invisible coaches, evidently getting the lowdown on desired strategy from the parquet floor. Marvelous Marv Albert's terrific commentary is a half-step behind the action, sounding as if he were constantly distracted by the cheerleaders' bumping and grinding (as we tend to be, too, so it's kind of understandable).
