Naomie Harris stars in new clip from Skyfall: watch now
“Take the shot!”
Skyfall has released another new clip in advance of its grand unveiling later this month, in which Naomie Harris finds herself rolling the dice as she attempts to take down a hostile target without assassinating her colleague (one Mr James Bond) in the process.
The scene is a longer version of the moment already seen in the recent trailer, in which Harris’ MI6 operative is encouraged by M to take the risky pot-shot, despite the fact that Bond is also in the crosshairs.
Sadly, Harris fluffs her shot, sending poor old 007 hurtling into a river from a preposterous height. Surely he couldn’t survive that… could he?
Take a look, below…
As stunts go, they don’t come more spectacular then having Bond engage in a punch-up atop a moving train, before sending him free-falling hundreds of feet into the chasm below. Goldeneye ’s dam bungee has some competition…
Directed by Sam Mendes and co-starring Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem, Skyfall opens in the UK on 26 October 2012.
