MotorStorm - updated hands-on
We explore more tracks and more vehicles in Sony's muddin' masterpiece
We've gushed about the graphics before, but it's all well warranted. Seeing so many vehicles on the tracks, kicking up dust and swapping paint with one another so smoothly is a sight to behold. Watching a driver rocket through the air in a fatal slow-motion ballet is nearly a religious experience. Incidentally, the animation has gotten a lot smoother since the demo's release.
The more the veil gets lifted on MotorStorm, the more excited we are about the finished product. It promises to be a deep, refined gaming experience with promising online and a new twist on the racing genre. If you're not anxiously awaiting this one, you've had one too many head-on collisions.
