The Mortal Kombat 1 roster just got one of its best (and strangest additions). While we already knew about a lot of Hollywood talent coming into the new fighting game through the first Kombat Pack DLC, I don't think anybody expected this: Nitara is returning, and she'll have the voice & likeness of actor Megan Fox.
With the September 19 release date fast approaching, we're finally getting a real sense of what Mortal Kombat 1 characters we'll be ripping apart from launch. The studio is promising that this series reboot will reimagine each of the fighters, with respect to their stories and fighting styles, so expect plenty more surprises in Mortal Kombat 1.

Mortal Kombat 1 features a new Kameo Fighters system where you can call upon another famous MK fighter to assist you in battle – combining their moveset with your primary character selection to perform devastating offensive and support-based moves, including hard-hitting Fatal Blows, brutal Fatalities, and defensive Breakers.
NetherRealm says that each Kameo Fighter is based on a classic version of the character pulled from over 30 years of Mortal Kombat history. Additionally, while some characters from the main roster will receive Kameo Fighter variants (meaning you could pair up two Sub-Zeroes, for example), it's understood that some characters may be exclusive to the Kameo system. Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack characters confirmed
NetherRealm Studios has confirmed the fighters who will appear in the first Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack. The post-launch DLC will add six characters to the main roster, including classic combatants like Quan Chi, Ermac, and Takeda Takahashi, as well as guest fighters Peacemaker, Omni-Man, and Homelander. The Kombat Pack also unlocks five additional Kameo fighters.
