Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate General Weapons Guide
Weapons in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate are a lot like classes in other RPGs. Each one unlocks its own combos, its own moves, and its own strategies. If you start playing the game with one type of weapon and find that it doesn't jive with your typical play-style, take a step back, look at the options, and try another. While you might not enjoy Monster Hunter with a Long Sword, you could possibly love it with Dual Blades, or a Bowgun. It changes things a lot, so it's worth giving them all a go at one point or another.
