Cla$$War, a 2002-4 comic penned by occasional SFX contributor Rob Williams, has been optioned for a movie by Mandeville Film, reports Variety . It’s a political thriller about a super-soldier called the American who discovers the sinister truth of the government program that created him. Mandeville also recently picked up the Top Cow comic book Alibi.
Vampire Eric’s Dad In Thor Movie
A few months back, internet pundits were tipping True Blood star Alexander (Vampire Eric) Skarsgard as the man to play Thor in Kenneth Brannagh’s upcoming big screen adaptation of the Marvel character. That never happened, and the role went to Chris Hemsworth. But, in a strange twist, it now seems that Skarsgard’s dad, Swedish actor Stellan (Mamma Mia, Dogville*) Skarsgard, has taken a role in the movie, according to Coming Soon , though his role remains a secret.
