Monday Link-A-Mania
Guy Pearce in Iron Man 3 news, a new Star Trek (videogame) trailer and Bryan Fuller on a new Trek TV series
• Bryan Fuller, the man behind Pushing Daisies and Dead Like Me has stated that there will be no Star Trek TV show in the foreseeable future. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly , former DS9 and Voyager writer Fuller said that he had discussed collaborating on a TV series with Bryan Singer but nothing official would happen until after the next movie, and that any potential project would need to remain the under control of J.J Abrams.
• Speaking of Star Trek , a new trailer for the videogame, set to bridge the story between JJ Abrams' Star Trek, and Star Trek 2, has been released featuring, er, very little by way of story, but a lot of phaser action. Videogame tie-ins aren't usually a safe bet, but given Digital Extreme's last game, The Darkness II is one of our favourites of the year so far, we have extremely high hopes.
Speaking of The Dark Knight Rises The Wall Street Journal are reporting that it will contain just over an hours worth of footage in ginormo IMAX format, up from The Dark Knight ’s 40 minutes. So long as it’s not 3D we’re happy.
