Step 1: You're given a template like this to work on. It's all pretty simple to get going and there arethousands of combinations to create

Step 2: Like LBP you can choose a skin and an abundance of eyes, noses and mouths to stick on your driver

Pimp your ride

Step 1: You're give the frame for which to cobble together your unique kart. You can hit Triangle and get a random selection if you like
Above: Battery-power over petrol because we're environmentally friendly
Step 2: You can choose a number of things for your vehicle including what type of engine it has. Each one sounds like it should so the battery has a RC car sound
Above: Meat paint job with a biohazard symbol? Yeah, why not
Step 3: There are tons of stickers and paint job combos to choose from. You can fully edit all decals too so you can create something completely unique

Step 4: Once the base is to your liking you can then add cosmetic trimmings to your vehicle. This garish satellite dish is one of many oddities you can put on it
Making a track

Step 1: You're given this part cement mixer, part combine harvester to bomb around in, which also lays the track as you drive

Step 2: You can change the elevation of the track laying machine by pressing up and down on the right stick as demonstrated here

Step 3: Once you've tied the track together you're giventhe option to populate thewhole thing. For a speedy way to create an environment hit 'yes'

Step 4: Voila! Your track is now complete and thankfully has all the ramps, turbo strips and weapons already thrown in
