Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor artifact locations guide
Barrows of Uldun
Artifact #8 - Coded Journal Entry #1
There's a bridge in the northeastern area of the map. Climb the tower on the eastern end of the bridge to find this up top.
Artifact #9 - Serpentine Blade
This is a tough one. It's inside a deep, Orc-filled cave on the western edge of the map. It's probably best to just sprint past everyone, grab your prize, and dash back out.
Durthang Keep
Artifact #10 - Rusted Horn
This area is basically one giant ruin; head to the northwestern wing. Walk along its eastern edge while heading south to spot a bent set of bars you can squeeze past. The artifact is inside the small cell here.
Durthang Wastes
Artifact #11 - Graven Idol Representing Morgoth
There's a cave in the northwest area of the map. Head inside and use your bow to destroy the cracked wall--the artifact lies beyond.
Durthang Outskirts
Artifact #12 - Grog Bowl
There are two large ruins in the area--head to the southernmost one. Along the edge of the map, you can squeeze through the corner of the ruin and the cliff face to find this artifact in a small grotto.
Uldun Crossing
Artifact #13 - Pickaxe
There's a small cave in the southwestern section of this zone. Head inside and break the wall with elfshot to find the artifact beyond.
Artifact #14 - Basket Fragment
A bridge connects Uldun Crossing and the Black Road. Check under its southernmost arch to find this.
