A new trailer has landed for Slow West, John MacLean's Western in which Michael Fassbender and Kodi Smit-McPhee form an unconventional double act as they attempt to track down and protect the love of the latter's young life.
Smit-McPhee is questing for his beloved in 1800s Colorado, and soon finds himself under the wing of Fassbender's grizzled gunslinger, who offers up his services as a "chaperone". He might just be needed, too, particularly with Ben Mendelsohn's outlaw on the prowl.

There's a dark humour to the footage we've seen so far that has us good and excited for this one, particularly with Fassbender and Mendelsohn trying to out-badass each other. Hard-bitten one-liners, ahoy!
Directed by MacLean and co-starring Caren Pistorius, Rory McCann and Brooke Williams, Slow West will open in the US on 15 May 2015 and the UK on 26 June 2015.
