These robotic, mutilated or otherwise unusual humanoids will fight it out in a few different multiplayer modes, with deathmatch and king of the hill taking center stage. There will be a single player mode, of course, but details are pretty slim. It'll involve Samus trying to reach the artifacts before the competition, but will action override exploration? We're not sure, but even with the emphasis on alien-on-alien violence, expect to be combing through caves looking for gun enhancements and other typical Metroid power-ups.
