If you're having trouble raiding other players' Forward Operating Bases in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, some costume DLC may be what you need. This week, Konami released three costumes for anti-hero Snake and/or his male followers, two costumes for female soldiers, and two outfits for D-Horse (who is, in case you didn't know or couldn't guess by the name, a horse).
Each costume individually will run you $0.99/€0.99 apiece, or you can secure a bundle with all seven for $4.99/€4.99. While D-Horse's fancy bridles offer no mechanical advantage whatsoever, not every costume is purely cosmetic. According to item descriptions, Snake's Sneaking Suit and The Boss' Sneaking Suit both "eliminate the sound of footsteps," offer "superb damage resistance" and hide your body heat during FOB missions. Meanwhile, The Boss' outfit and EVA's jumpsuit can be left unzipped for a "tactical advantage."
I guess it's so they can reach into hidden pockets and pull out hidden guns? Not sure what else it could possibly be ...
