Here's some new Metal Gear Online details on classes and gear
Konami's twitter feed has been filling out some info on MGS 5's Metal Gear Online component, mainly about customisation and gear. Here's the short version of all the new stuff:
• There's different gear parts which can be customised and mixed.
• You can change preset colour and patterns.
• Gear doesn't affect stats.
• There will be classes, and some gear is class specific.
• There's no open world co-op (this has been mentioned before).
• You can't unlock online gear in single player.
Interestingly, most questions were answered but one about being able to play as a female soldier was left conspicuously untouched.
