Megan Fox rumoured for Tomb Raider
Could she replace Angelina Jolie?
While it’s still just so much interwebs whisper right now, word has it that Megan Fox is being considered to take over the Tomb Raider franchise from Angelina Jolie.
Games website PSX Extreme picked up the rumour from a Spanish news site, so nothing is even close to official yet.
The only word so far is that Fox is being “mooted”. Which, frankly, isn’t a shock given that she’s attached to half the projects floating around Hollywood, at least in executives’ fevered brains.
Tomb Raider 3
And while the Tomb Raider franchise hasn’t exactly been the breeding ground for great films, both movies did decent box office, so there’s always someone who’ll want to squeeze a little more life out of it.
Plus watching Megan Fox in a skin-tight wetsuit? We can sort of see where it might sell a few tickets. Maybe. If it’s raining out.
