Meet The Silver Surfer
Fantastic Four 2’s metal man is revealed
With word that the teaser trailer for Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer will be attached to prints of Night At The Museum, more goodies are starting to sneak out from the film.
Such as this brand new picture of the movie’s menace/misunderstood traveller (it’s a matter of perspective, and something that will create plenty of drama in the plot), who serves as the messenger for the planet-gobbling baddie Galactus.
With a voice and body movement provided by Hellboy’s Doug Jones, the surfer is talked up in USA Today by Marvel’s Avi Arad, who describes him as looking "somewhere between gun metal and fluid metallics so you can see the body motion, the breathing, the muscle tone, the mood. He is a highly emotional being, trapped inside fluid metal.”
With Jones providing his usual sterling work, we’re hopeful that the Fantastic sequel will be a little more, well… fantastic.
