Matthew Vaughn Wants A-List Actors For The Golden Age

X-Men: First Class director could move on to the opposite end of the superhero age range with a film based on a Jonathan Ross comic
The script is based on an as-yet unpublished comic written by Jonathan Ross (whose wife, Jane Golman, scripted Vaughn’s Stardust and Kick-Ass ) and Vaughn is thinking big when it comes to casting: he has Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson, and Warren Beatty on his wishlist.
The title is a play on the idea of being in your “golden” years, and also the “golden age” of comics. Apparently, the old-timers have to come out of retirement to help their grandchildren when their middle-aged parent screw up the world. Anyone else thinking RED meets The Incredibles ?
The articles points out that Vaughn may not direct, but rather just act in a producer capacity.
