Matt Damon joins Christopher Nolans Interstellar
Set to appear in minor role
Christopher Nolan’s remarkable cast for Interstellar just got even more starry with the news that Matt Damon will be appearing in a minor role.
The Playlist reports that Damon will be taking on an undisclosed part, thought to be only a fleeting appearance due to the fact that he will only be shooting the project for two weeks.
No details have been supplied as to who he will be playing, although that is currently the case with all the major roles, with Nolan keeping his cards typically close to his chest.
What we do know is that the film will follow a group of space-based explorers who find themselves unravelling the secret of time travel when encountering a wormhole.
Co-starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, John Lithgow, Casey Affleck, Topher Grace, Ellen Burstyn, and Michael Caine, Interstellar will open in the UK on 7 November 2014.
