Xbox 360's Mass Effect - an original futuristic RPG from the creators of Knights of the Old Republic - made a stir at last week's X06 conference, and the screens have finally emerged from hyperspace.

Mass Effect will be released early next year, accompanied by downloadable Xbox Live content. Also, the game is slated to be the first in a trilogy, so we mightbe seeing a lot moreeffects of a massive natureas the 360 matures.
