Spider-Man 2 New Game Plus mode adds a whole load of new features to Peter Parker and Miles Morales' adventures. If you choose to convert a completed game save into NG+ you can then replay the main story with all your existing unlocks, upgrades, and collectibles intact. This opens up a few opportunities in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, whether it's replaying the whole story on a harder difficulty or just revisiting key plot points and having fun with your upgraded abilities along the way. Here's everything you need to know about New Game Plus in Spider-Man 2 and the features it unlocks.
How to access Spider-Man 2 New Game Plus mode
To play Spider-Man 2 New Game Plus mode you first need to finish the main story (check our guide on the Spider-Man 2 length to see what you've got left). When you have a completed save, hover over that save slot and you'll see a message pop up in the bottom right corner of the screen telling you that you access NG+. You can then follow the prompt to create a fresh New Game+ save file which will be separate from your existing save, so you won't lose that.
What's added in Spider-Man 2 New Game Plus mode?
Spider-Man 2 New Game Plus gives you access to new features, as well as additional items to unlock. You can also replay the game on harder difficulties, including Ultimate difficulty, while keeping all of your unlocked suits and abilities, and levelling up past Level 60 to reach Ultimate Levels. These provide additional Styles for your Spider-Man 2 suits.
There are also enhancements for your Spider-Man 2 skills, abilities, gadgets and suit tech, including Golden Gadget styles to purchase, and Suit Tech Fusion which allows both mods in a Suit Mod Group to be active at once. Mission Replay and Time of Day options can also be accessed through the menu, to revisit your favorite quests and customise how the world around you appears.
There are fresh Suit Styles available for a selection of Peter's symbiote story suits in NG+ too, plus new Marvel's Hellfire Gala suits for both Peter and Miles. Insomniac Games, Marvel Games, and Gameheads have partnered to create the Fly N' Fresh suits (pictured above).
