Spider-Man 2 Marko's Memories are a collectible you can find throughout the game. Sandman is actually the first villain you defeat in the opening, but he has a lasting legacy throughout the story as you collect various crystals containing memories that explain why he returned to a life of big sandy crime.
Collect all these Spider-Man 2 Memory Crystals and you can piece together Marko's thoughts. However, you'll need to find each of their locations and defeat the waves of Sand Minions protecting them, before breaking open the crystal and collecting the shard inside. Spider-Man 2 Marko's Memories locations
There are 14 Marko's Memories to find in Spider-Man 2, and I've marked their locations on the map above. While you can find these in any order, you'll collect the first Memory Crystal automatically as part of the opening story missions, and the last Marko's Memory mission only unlocks once you've collected everything. You can spot the locations for Marko's Memories from a distance if you see a cloud of sand swirling around an area. They'll also be marked on your map automatically once you get close enough.
How to complete the Remember mission for Marko's Memories in Spider-Man 2
Once you have all the crystals you'll trigger Remember, the final Marko's Memories mission in Spider-Man 2. This functions a little differently to the others and instead of defeating a horde of angry Sand Minions you're instead teleported to a new environment for a final fight.
For the first part of this you need to follow a ball of light. For some reason, I found it very difficult to pass through the opening in the terrain to reach the next area, so try to find an anchor point nearby to swing yourself up to it.
Next, you need to break off the spikes protecting the last remaining Memory Crystal, by throwing objects at it. Once you start this you'll be attacked by Sand Minions. Do your best to ignore or dodge them though, while continuing to throw objects as they won't stop coming until the spikes are all destroyed. With the final Memory Crystal obtained, you can construct them into a statue then deliver it to Marko's daughter Keemia, to complete this side story.
