Marvel's Defenders has started filming - Jessica Jones and Misty Night are getting on just *fine*
Set photos from Netflix’s The Defenders have appeared, and they show Jessica Jones and Misty Night from Luke Cage facing off in the middle of the street. Judging by the gun Misty is wielding and Jessica’s bloodied face, it looks like filming is off to an interesting start to say the least.

SuperHeroHype have released photos which show a bloodied Jessica, played by Krysten Ritter, being held at gunpoint by Simone Missick’s Misty, which has got my alarm bells ringing. Luke and Jessica might be from different boroughs but as Defenders will be a crossover, it’s obvious that there will be occasions where the super heroes meet up. But in these photos it looks like it’s not going to be smooth sailing, as it looks like Misty isn’t entirely pleased to see Jessica. Perhaps Jessica has got on the wrong side of the law, and with her super strength I can imagine how she might have accidentally hurt someone a bit too badly.
More cast members have been confirmed, featuring Elden Henson as Foggy, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Eka Darville as Malcolm, and Scott Glenn as Stick. Sigourney Weaver has also signed on to be the series’ big unknown villain, so we’re keeping our eyes peeled for any announcements about who she’ll be playing.
Defenders, starring Krysten Ritter, Charlie Cox, Finn Jones, and Mike Colter, will be released in 2017.
