Marvel Universe Online headed to Xbox 360 and PC
Remember that messy lawsuit between Marvel Comics and Cryptic Studios? The former accused the latter of copyright infringement because the massively multiplayer online game City of Heroes featured parts like claws and spandex. Creative (but not too creative) players promptly made clever variations like "Spydorr-Mann" and "Wulvereen," which prompted Marvel to bring down Thor's hammer.
Well, they made nice, and now we see they're making even more: Microsoft announced Marvel Universe Online, an MMO for both PC and Xbox 360. The announcement came as part of the X06 press event in Barcelona in the form of a short teaser video showing the game's logo and several of Marvel's popular characters, including Spider-Man, Daredevil, Nightcrawler (of the X-Men) and The Incredible Hulk.
For now, that's all we've got, except for a bit of unbridled fanboy lust. As we get more information and hopefully some high-res screens, we'll update.
