Hulk cut from Captain America: Civil War
Bad news for fans of big, green rage-monsters, as Mark Ruffalo has confirmed that the Hulk will not be making an appearance in Captain America: Civil War. However, he did at least make the first draft of the script…
“The reason is too great to be revealed in this movie,” when asked why he’d been chopped by Bad Taste. “I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don’t want to reveal where he is and why. I don’t even know if Hulk will be back soon.”
We’re sure Hulk will have a major part to play come Infinity War time, but given that the next Cap film is already stuffed to the gills with Avengers characters, perhaps it’s best that Bruce Banner sits this one out. Enthusiasts of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes can still look forward to Chris Evans being joined by Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner when Civil War lands in the UK on April 29, 2016 and the US on May 6, 2016.
