Mark Hamill keeping Luke, I am your father level secret for The Force Awakens?

Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, took the time to chat to PC Gamer about new game Star Citizen, and in the process he's let something fairly big slip about upcoming film Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The hero of the original Star Wars trilogy has been suspiciously absent from The Force Awakens' trailers, character posters and TV spots (or has he?), and with JJ Abrams admitting this was no mistake, everyone's wondering what happened to Luke in the 30 years between the Return of the Jedi and the new movie.

Well, it looks like it could be a biggy after Mark Hamill revealed he's being paid A LOT of money to keep a secret about The Force Awakens so big, it'll make the whole 'Luke, I am your father' thing seem insignificant in comparison.

"I have something coming out where there’s an amount of money that if it leaks, because of me, I don’t get that payment" Hamill said. "I’m good about keeping secrets, I’m proud of the fact that I knew a year and a half before anybody else that he was actually dad Vader." The Star Wars actor added: "Now it’s happening all over again. I’m not even authorised to tell you I’m in Episode VII, it’s all secret." What a tease!

So, what could this big secret be? Is Luke Skywalker dead? Is he training Jedi in secret? Is he actually Jar Jar Binks in disguise? Ok... probably not that last one. Guess we'll have to wait 'til December 17 in the UK and December 18 in the US to find out.
