Why you can trust 12DOVE
Scribble back and forth to run the 100 meters. Tap the touch screen to jump over hurdles. To perform the long jump, just draw a diagonal line once you reach the takeoff board. In the archery event, draw the stylus downward to pull back on the bow and then use the touch screen to aim the targeting sight. Speed, timing, and the angle of your chicken scratches are ultimately what will win you the day, but you'll never feel overwhelmed because the simple touch-based controls keep you in the thick of the pack.
All the while, each of the 16 playable characters looks and sounds just like they do in their own games. You'll feel right at home watching Mario skip rapidly down the track uttering his trademark "Oh no" and "Yahoo" whenever the lead changes.
On your own, you can strive to claim medals and trophies in all of the different one-off events, cup competitions, and mission-based challenges. You can also kill time with five parlor style minigames - including Koopa shell hockey - that dole out Olympic trivia factoids when you beat the suggested score.
