Mario Party 9 release date March 11, new trailer has story and Wiggler battles
What's new in MP9? This trailer has the boss details
Mario Party might be one of the most numerous franchises in gaming history, but it's been nearly five years since Mario and his pals partied hard on a home console. Announced back at E3, the ninth Mario Party is out in a matter of days, though if you assume it's exactly the same as Mario Party 8, you're wrong. Check out this newest trailer to see a big addition: Boss fights!
As you can see in the video, MP9 takes some inspiration from the recent Mario Galaxy games with it's spacey and simple storyline, while the boss fights that end each stage are a whole different beast. A mix of co-op and competition, you and three other players work together to take out the boss, but you want to be the one to do the most damage. We'll have more info soon, but in the meantime, embrace the knowledge that Mario Party 9 is out in the US March 11, and March 2 in the UK.
