Look, we know that Marvel vs Capcom 3 is a sequel to a ten-year-old game. We’re well aware that there are certain high expectations and that an awful lot of mouth-frothing fighting game fanboys had, nay, needed to buy it as soon as humanly possible. People, that doesn’t excuse you from the biggest gaming tough-guy lie of them all: a dude who passes on sex - with two women, naturally - in order to grab his copy.

You may have passed on candle-lit dinners or walks on the beach (or maybe just a day with your mother-in-law) to get some shoryuken practice time, and that’s fine. But let’s not sound like The Todd and say that it was two random ladies that you met earlier that night. Have more respect for your Marvel vs Capcom 3 purchase than that. The game deserves it.
