Kick off:
The visual clues for quick kills are often pretty obvious- there's more beds of spikes than a Soho S&M parlor. And kicking is often the quickest and most economical way to get things dead. Any sign of a precipice should have you kicking orcs over it like a can-can hooligan, and don't forget that fire is more deadly than the graphics would imply. If you want to give your legs a rest, a fireball into a patch of oil can be a great way of avoiding direct contact.
