The dragon-born Saurus makes a versatile elementalist, able to study the ways of wind, water or earth-bound sorcery. Finally, the Huntress Chela is a fierce Amazon warrior, a pure fighter who may follow the bear, jaguar or eagle stances - giving her brute force, speedy killer or deadly archer abilities.
We found that the dropped loot to be more powerful and helpful than the skills that we gained, however, but this is consistent with just about every other game in the action-RPG genre. We braced for a mountain of treasure - and weren't disappointed - but also appreciated the intricacy of crafting our own items. Forging magical magestones into free slots in our armor and weapons layered on even more powerful effects, while mixing reagents together netted us helpful potions.
