Luke Evans discusses Paul Walkers death
“He was a really, really lovely man”
Luke Evans has talked for the first time about the death of his Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker.
“It was horrible,” Evans said this week while promoting The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug . “Absolutely horrible. It happened the day I arrived in Los Angeles, just before we had to start this crazy press tour.”
Evans worked with Walker on Fast & Furious 6 . The 34-year-old Brit added: “It’s very hard because I’d not really had a huge amount of time to process it. It’s slowly sinking in, as I’m sure it is for everybody else around the world.
“It’s just a terrible, terrible sad story, and he will be missed by a lot of people. He was a really, really lovely man.”
Walker passed away on 30 November 2013 after being involved in a car crash.
Fast & Furious 7 has been put on hold indefinitely. Our thoughts remain with his friends and family at this difficult time.
