Lollipop Chainsaw achievement/trophy guide
Hear “Hey Mickey” a minimal number of times by using our detailed guide
What’s there to do once you’ve finished the story mode of Lollipop Chainsaw? Plenty! The achievements/trophies are designed to encourage replay in a digestible, fun manner. Which really just means you don’t have to do loads of boring grinding or complete excruciatingly difficult tasks to get your 1000g/Platinum. But that doesn’t mean that you won’t need some help - that’s why we’re here. Read on to ace this game in no time.
Accidental Vandalism
15g/Bronze
Destroyed 300 objects in the game.
There are lots of objects to destroy in Lollipop Chainsaw. Lockers, desks, and chairs from Stage 1, the speakers during the Zed fight, the fences in Stage 3, and the potted plants and trash receptacles in Stage 4 are all examples of destroyable objects.
Aced Auto-Shop Class
15g/Bronze
Clear all the Kill Car QTE’s in a row.
All this achievement requires is that you not miss any of the Quick Time Es that trigger when a thrown car gets near you during the first segment of Stage 6. It’s ok if a car gets thrown past you. This also applies during the zombie fight in the middle of the street. The achievement unlocks after you race underneath the collapsing building and leap off the main street.
Advanced Zombie Hunter
30g/Silver
Clear Stage 3, surpassing Dad’s score.
Dad’s score on Stage 3 is 294,900.
It’s relatively easy to beat Dad’s score, but here are a few tips if you’re having trouble:
- Play on Normal
- Go for as many Sparkle Hunting kills as possible
- Do not die or restart at any checkpoints. Doing either subtracts 5000 points each time.
Always On The Phone
30g/Bronze
Collected all telephone messages.
You’ll get telephone messages throughout the campaign. Once you’ve beaten the game, you’ll have received all of the phone messages. You don’t even have to listen to them from Juliet’s Stash.
Beginner Zombie Hunter
30g/Silver
Clear Stage 1, surpassing Dad’s score.
Dad’s score on Stage 1 is 214,500.
It’s relatively easy to beat Dad’s score, but here are a few tips if you’re having trouble:
- Play on Normal
- Go for as many Sparkle Hunting kills as possible
- Do not die or restart at any checkpoints. Doing either subtracts 5000 points each time.
Cheerleader Overboard
10g/Bronze
Succeed in QTE at edge of Vikke’s ship.
During the second segment of the battle with Vikke, his legs will move separately from the rest of his body. Move to the edge of the ship and wait for the legs to kick you off the edge. When dangling, mash the B/Circle button quickly and Juliet will reach up and toss the legs overboard. Achievement unlocked and legs killed!
If you kill the legs before getting this achievement, he will re-summon them, assuming you don’t rush to damage him enough to move onto the third segment of the fight before that.
Congratulations! Happy Birthday!
100g/Gold
Watched the happy ending.
Spoiler Warning!
The happy ending is available after the credits roll if you’ve rescued all of the classmates. To check your classmate progress, pause during any stage and press X/Square.
Critical UFO Finish
10g/Bronze
Funk Josey in the last 10 seconds.
Josey is the boss of Stage 4. During the battle, you’ll eventually find yourself on top of his giant UFO with a timer running down. Destroy the shield generators as you normally would, but once the “Finish” prompt appears above Josey, stay your hand and let the clock run down. At about the 12 second mark, Finish off Josey (the action of killing him eats up several seconds).
