It's been a bit of a bumper day for superhero news, with the latest spandex-clad treat coming in the form of a juicy new clip from The Avengers .
The new scene is an extended version of the conversation between Tony Stark and Loki from which the, "I have an army - we have a Hulk" exchange is taken from.
Tom Hiddleston and Robert Downey Jr. show off some real chemistry in this new footage, and the tension is palpable. Stark might be cracking wise, but underneath all that, you can tell he means business.

Most intriguing is Loki's comment about the Hulk, in which he sneers, "Oh, I thought the beast had wandered off." Will the Hulk abandon his team-mates in their hour of need? Has Nick Fury really got Bruce Banner's alter-ego under control?
That's the thing about having a giant rage-monster on your side… they can be a little erratic from time to time. The Avengers (AKA Avengers Assemble to us Brits) opens in the UK on 26 April 2012.
