LittleBigPlanet 2 players will soon have big swords, spiky hair, and demure flower girls to add to their virtual toy boxes, as Sony has announced the July 13tharrival of a Final Fantasy VII costume pack for Media Molecule's build-it-yourself PS3 platformer.
The pack will contain sack versions of Cloud, Sephiroth, Aeris, Tifa and Vincent, and will retail on PSN for US$5.99. The FFVII themed figures will also be sold a la carte for US$1.99 a piece, however Vincent will only be available as a packaged bonus. Given Aeris' bad habit of biting it only 10 hours into the game, one would think she'd also be offered at a discount, or at least with a knitted pouch of phoenix downs.
In addition to the FFVII pack, Sony revealed an inFamous 2 mini-pack for LittleBigPlanet 2 featuring both good and evil versions of Cole and a handful of stickers for US$2.99. Also on tap is a similarly priced Killzone 3 mini-pack sporting Rico and Hazmat Trooper skins plus stickers, due July 20th; and multiple Toy Story 3 packs, coming laterthis summer.
