Liam Hemsworth ponders Arabian Nights
Looks to make sand and sandals epic...
His brother's heading up next year’s Thor movie, but Liam Hemsworth is not one to be upstaged, it seems.
See, he’s in negotiations to appear in action epic Arabian Nights . In your face, Chris!
Directed by Chuck Russell (yep, him of The Scorpion King ), the 3D flick is being funded by Inferno Entertainment, and is looking to go in front of cameras at the end of the summer.
The script has been written by Russell and Barry P Ambrose, and positions Hemsworth as a young commander who joins forces with Sinbad and Aladdin to rescue Queen Scheherazade when her king is slain.
Looks like the effect of this year’s two-pronged attack of sand and sandals epics ( Prince Of Persia and Clash Of The Titans ) is already being felt in the industry.
Next up for Hemsworth is Miley Cyrus movie The Last Song (above). We really hope it is.
Think second time could be the charm for Russell's sandy epic?
