Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill set to reteam on new biopic
Will tell the story of falsely-accused Olympics bomber
Having both scored Oscar nominations for their double-act in The Wolf Of Wall Street , Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill are all set to team-up again on a new biopic for Fox.
Deadline reports that the pair have both signed on to star in an adaptation of the story of Richard Jewell, the man falsely accused of bombing the Atlanta Olympics back in 1996.
The film will be adapted from Marie Brenner’s Vanity Fair article entitled The Ballad Of Richard Jewell , which charts how Jewell was initially hailed as a hero for recovering a backpack bomb at the event, before falling under the finger of suspicion...
Hill will star as Jewell, while DiCaprio will play his lawyer friend who helped steer him through the ensuing legal nightmare.
No director or screenwriter has been appointed as yet, so no clue as to when this one might hit our screens, but it certainly sounds like an intriguing project for the pair.
Scorsese to complete the hat-trick? Over to you, Marty...
