Leo DiCaprio's found a Body Of Lies
He’s in talks to star in a new Ridley Scott thriller
Following up his Oscar nod, Leonardo DiCaprio just can’t help shovelling projects on to his development plate.
Alongside proposed movies with Martin Scorsese and plans to reunite with Kate Winslet for Revolutionary Road, he’s also considering starring in Warner Bros’ adaptation of David Ignatius’ novel Body Of Lies.
You can see why he might be attracted: Lies already has some top talent attached in the shape of writer William Monaghan (The Departed) and director Ridley Scott (we really don’t need to list his credits, do we?)
If he signs on, DiCaprio would play a former journalist-turned-CIA agent posted to Amman, Jordan to track down an Al-Qaeda leader planning attacks against the States. While there, he crosses paths with Jordan’s intelligence chief.
Sir Rid is already busy looking at locations in Washington, DC, Europe, the Middle East and his old Kingdom Of Heaven stomping ground, Morocco and plans to shoot in the autumn.
