UPDATE: Sadly, it seems as if this offer has given up the ghost. The UCS Millennium Falcon is now out of stock at that tempting price at both John Lewis and Amazon. With any luck, it'll return for Black Friday. We'll keep you informed if anything comes up!

Sound the 'good deals' klaxon, because we've got the best price on the Lego Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon in literal years.

You can currently get what we'd argue is one of the best Lego sets for £183 less than normal in an offer that gets you the kit's lowest price since November 2021. More specifically, it's £551.24 at John Lewis instead of almost £735. That's just a few pounds off its record low of £548.67 that appeared back in the mists of 2020, a price we haven't seen since then.

It's certainly one way to kick off the sales season, and it gives me hope that this year's Black Friday Lego deals will be good. With the massive Lego Hogwarts Castle also hitting its lowest price in a while, things are starting to heat up...

Lego UCS Millennium Falcon | £734.99 £551.24 at John Lewis
Save £183 - I've not seen this set so cheap since 2020, and I doubt it'll drop any further for the upcoming Black Friday sale as a result. Judging by price history (and a quick look at price comparison site CamelCamelCamel), this one never really dips so far during the official Black Friday sale anyway. As such, now's as good a time as any to strike.

Should you buy the Lego UCS Millennium Falcon?

In terms of whether this offer is worth grabbing, I'd respond with a resounding "hell yes." Even though it's been ever so slightly cheaper in the past, that kind of drop is very rare. As I mentioned earlier, it's been literal years since we've seen that kind of reduction - and we barely ever see a discount that steep on it either.

Yes, it's expensive. There's also a smaller, cheaper version available to tie in with the Rise of Skywalker. But this kit is worth it. As we mentioned in our Lego UCS Millennium Falcon review, it's the ultimate model from the current lineup of Lego Star Wars sets. Besides being an absolute monster so far as size goes (meaning it's the most accurate representation of this hunk o' junk Lego makes), it's crammed with loads of Easter eggs and is staffed by lots of minifigures too. That does mean you'll need plenty of display space to show it off, but there's arguably nothing better on Lego's shelves right now.
