Why you can trust 12DOVE
That is, if you're playing on any system other than the DS. This port approximates the 3D graphics of the big boys, but with rough edges, completely redone or removed content (where's Dagobah?) and little of the simplistic charm found in other versions. Furthermore, the camera is surly, often lodging in blind spots or out in the stratosphere, and the controls are none too precise.
And then there are the bugs. Huge, giant, game-killing bugs. You can scoff if you like: in 2006, how buggy can a major release really be? Check it: backgrounds disappear all the time. Once per level, at least. Characters disappear, too. Hey, wasn't Chewie watching our back a second ago? Now he's gone. Or even worse, now he's shooting at us. Sometimes the code will just lock up, or crash hard while you're trying to load a bounty hunter battle between systems. We've played pre-alpha titles that were more finished. This is ridiculous, and it never, ever should have passed quality assurance testing.
