Lego Lord of the Rings minikit guide

Cirith Ungol [6-10]

Minikit #6: Once you reach the courtyard, there are five spiderwebs to destroy. These are only revealed when you destroy the crates near it. Start with this column nearest the fortress.

The second web is hidden behind crates next to the save point.

This web is covered by crates in the northwest corner of the lower level.

The fourth web can be found behind crates after catapulting to the upper ledge.

The last web is tucked behind some rocks at the base of the staircase in the northwest of the courtyard.

Minikit #7: Upon entering the area, there will be ledges directly to your left. Scale them as Gollum, and leap to the climbable wall. Then make your way up to the minikit tucked away up here.

Minikit #8: When you get into the open area, head northwest to find a Mithril lock on some cellar doors. Bomb the lock off and hop in to find a secret area.

At the end of this section is a minikit, but you’ll have to be stealthy to get there. Make your way to the bottom left corner for an all-important key, and then head to top right to unlock the minikit proper. Be patient, and you’ll make it through this section in no time.

Minikit #9: In the far east corner of the area you’ll find a cracked tile for Gimli to shatter. This reveals soil for Sam to dig. This causes a palm tree to grow, allowing Legolas to high jump up to a vine. Pulling this then launches barrels from the sky and starts a timer. Destroy 20 barrels before time runs out to earn a minikit.

Minikit #10: You’ll have to come to this rooftop to finish the level, so use Aragorn’s sword to smash the Morgul bricks while you’re up here. They’ll leave behind loose pieces you can build into a ballast. Fire it off to attach a tightrope to the other end of the courtyard. Hop on with Legolas, and walk that long, lonely tightrope all the way to the high-altitude minikit.
